Today we celebrate our temple anniversary; we call it ‘Odalan’. Before an Odalan, our Ladies & Gentlemen were busy preparing food and other offerings and decorating the temple. The program consists of worship services, presentations of such offerings as food and flowers in the temple, and special anointings. After religious services, there are huge feasts, music and dancing. Guests are all invited to join the ceremony, wearing Balinese traditional attire. Based on the Balinese calendar or Çaka, Odalan fall once every 7 months or 210 days — and today is indeed a very special day. —
