The chicken jawn is made of fresh 3-wheat noodles, slow cooked chicken, sweet and sour onions, black truffle, miso corn, chives and Parmesan. Definitely the go-to lunch when I have meetings in Midtown! Fresh and very savory for a make-your-own bowl type of space.

The Real Deal lets you pick your fish amongst the three daily landings then you choose your sauce that comes on the side – wanted to try both the charred scallion and lemongrass aji, and served with sweet potato fries, kale and avocado salad, and mixed vegetables. Are you also a seafood lover?

I miss summer vibes. I miss this ceviche. Never thought of mixing raw fish and berries but surprised in the good way as it turns out very refreshing on hotter days. A nice appetizer to start with!

Okonomi is really something to experience. Despite the very small space and the fact that you’ll probably have to share your table unless you come with a party of 4, the unique breakfast menu let you choose between two different fishes. This one pictured is the porgy fish, with sake steamed golden beets with tofu purée and black sesame, pickled vegetables and tamago yaki. It comes with a miso soup and a seven grain rice bowl like no other one. Wasn’t expecting the fish bones but now you know haha!

I’m still not ready to adventure the granola bars baking but I can at least make a chia pudding! I topped it with @oatbox pear and salted caramel granola, some grapes and a tiny bit of maple syrup, yum. To fight the cold, never without my vitamin C and some hot green tea! What’s your favorite combo?

Crispy imperial rolls with pork, shrimp, glass noodle, wood ear mushroom. It’s funny how it is served by portion of 2 here while in Paris, they come in 5/6 pretty much everywhere!

I’ve never tried Laotian food before but it’s not too different from what I already know about Asian cuisine. I ordered the pork belly with sticky rice that comes with charred eggplant, roasted mushroom and the spicy bang bang sauce. The food was pretty tasty but the meat was slightly over fried which makes it a little dry. I need to go back for dinner as the menu is slightly different and has more choices!

Lion head meatball noodle soup with boiled egg. This is a classic dish from the northern Jiangsu province. The meat is braised for hours and served in house-made noodle soup base and soft-boiled egg. I wish the broth was as tasty as the meatballs, so I could just drink it like a soup! Would definitely go back to try more!

Grilled avocado, aromatic salt, ponzu and almonds. Enjoying some precious time at this oasis in the middle of the city. After trying all forms of avocado, the hot version of it was next on the list and here it is! Not to remind you of my ending relationship with it, it was quite strange and not for me… until the next one!

The Chun’s breakfast bomber comes with 12-hour pulled pork, bacon, eggs, potatoes and a blend of shredded jack and cheddar cheese wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. On the right, the B.E.A.C.H sandwich – bacon, egg, avocado, cheese, ham, on a toasted French roll with butter. The little extra touch is the Lava Flow milkshake made with premium vanilla ice cream, pina colada and strawberry
